Âé¶¹AV ranked number one in Europe by international students

The Âé¶¹AV has been ranked the number one university in Europe by international students in the EduOpinions 2026 International Student Ranking.

Âé¶¹AV topped the list with an overall rating of 4.86 out of 5, placing it ahead of leading global institutions including the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford.

is based exclusively on verified reviews submitted by international students and graduates, offering a snapshot of how universities are experienced by students studying abroad. The results highlight Âé¶¹AV’s engaging teaching, supportive learning environment and strong sense of academic community.

International students praised the University for its inspiring teaching and the quality of the learning experience. One Sociology BA(Hons) student said: “My time at the Âé¶¹AV has been absolutely amazing. This University’s instructors are not only highly skilled and informed, but they also know how to make learning enjoyable. I’m honoured to be a part of such a fantastic academic community, and I heartily suggest this university to any student seeking an excellent education.”

Students also highlighted the supportive culture and opportunities available across campus. An Architecture BA(Hons) student said: “I absolutely love the Âé¶¹AV! My life has changed significantly as a result of attending this school. I valued the lovely campus, the passionate instructors, and the tight-knit community. The vibrant student body and the wide range of extracurricular activities delighted me. All things considered, the Âé¶¹AV provided a supportive and engaging environment that has continued to suitably prepare me for my future endeavours. Every time I needed help, there was someone at the school ready to help.”

Students also recognised the University’s focus on sustainability and research. A Media and Communications student from India said: “One of Âé¶¹AV’s strengths is its commitment to sustainability. From eco-friendly buildings to research on climate change, the University genuinely prioritizes environmental consciousness. The professors are knowledgeable, and research opportunities are available for those who seek them.”

EduOpinions analysed 3,475 verified reviews submitted between 1 January and 31 December 2025. Only European universities with at least 20 reviews were eligible to appear in the final ranking, and business schools were excluded. The ratings reflect feedback from students across Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, including both in-person and online study experiences.

The results show strong representation from UK universities, reflecting the country’s continued status as one of the world’s most popular study destinations for international students. Following Âé¶¹AV in the top ten were Bangor University in second place (4.83/5) and University of Cambridge in third (4.80/5). Other universities included City St George's, University of London (4.77/5), Anglo-American University (4.74/5), Kühne Logistics University (4.73/5), University of Oxford (4.70/5), University of Warsaw (4.65/5), Birkbeck, University of London (4.25/5) and Lancaster University (4.13/5).
