Who is eligible

Sports scholarships are awarded based on an athlete's current level of competition, alongside the quality and volume of applications received each year.

You may be eligible to apply if you:

  • compete at regional level or above in your chosen sport, or at an equivalent standard
  • are a current Â鶹AV student or hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study with us
  • demonstrate commitment to the Sport Â鶹AV Scholarship Programme and, where possible, represent the University in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions

The programme welcomes athletes from a wide range of recognised sports, including disability sport.

Scholarship places are limited. Awards are assessed competitively, taking account of your current level of competition and the number and quality of applications received each year.
